The Canadian HPB & Transplant Foundation is a dedicated charitable organization committed to transforming the landscape of hepatopancreaticobiliary (HPB) and transplant care. We strive to improve health trajectories through innovation, excellence, and a deep commitment to the patients we serve.
Within Alberta, there is a critical unmet need for innovation specifically focused on HPB and transplant diseases. Our foundation recognizes that staying at the medical forefront requires dedicated regional support to bridge the gap between discovery and patient care.
Patients across the province face significant hurdles, including limited access to highly specialized clinical teams, vast geographic barriers for those in rural communities, and fewer opportunities for local clinical research trials that offer hope for rare conditions.
We are here to lead the change. By funding high-impact research, enhancing access to specialized care, and fostering patient engagement, we aim to increase awareness and improve outcomes for all Albertans navigating complex surgical and transplant journeys.
